APA, reports

Reports differ from, for example, books in that the author can sometimes be the organization that publishes the report.

 

In the text

Write: The organization's name, the year of the report's publication.

E.g. (The National Board of Social Services, 2020).

 

Cite quotes

Write: The organization's name, the year of the report's publication, and the page number.

When citing a direct quote from the source material, mark the start and end of the quote with quotation marks ""

E.g “..." (The National Board of Social Services, 2020, p. 13).

 

In the bibliography

Write: Organization's name. (Year of the reports publication). The Report Title: Subtitle. Publisher. URL if the report is found online.

E.g. The National Board of Social Services. (2020). Human Trafficking in Denmark: Annual Report 2019. The National Board of Social Services. https://cmm.dk/media/13564/human-trafficking-in-denmark-2019-annual-report.pdf
